The Brief

Occupying a commanding hilltop site with panoramic views, this residence offered strong architectural foundations.

The brief called for a classic country aesthetic layered over a more resolved and livable interior. Kitchens and bathrooms were reimagined to offset stark white tiles with warmer, tactile materials. Concept plans proposed a more efficient kitchen layout with integrated bench seating, while curated furniture configurations improved spatial flow across key living areas. The entry and hallway zones were reconsidered through refined materiality, furnishing, and styling to enhance comfort and cohesion.

Externally, new bay windows were introduced to articulate the façade and strengthen the connection to a redefined outdoor entertaining space—maximising views and expanding the home’s sense of place.
