The Design

The redesign of the customer service centre focused on improving spatial functionality, orientation, and amenity. The brief called for a more welcoming main counter, additional layout tables for plan reviews with Building Inspectors, a dedicated computer search area, and a defined waiting zone. The new layout accommodates varying seating options to support customer wait times and face-to-face consultations. A calming palette of greens and blues was applied to walls and furniture, establishing a cohesive, professional tone aligned with the service centre’s civic function.
