Presentation is everything with retail design. Starting with visual impact, shopfront, signage design, product presentation down to the carry bag. Green Line Design will capture the essence of the retailer's product and translate it into a strong identity. We consider all aspects of the retail interior, from the shopfront and signage to the merchandising space, to the 'behind the scenes' services. A strong and interesting shopfront, initially harnessing the customer's awareness, must then direct them inside in an inviting way. This is achieved by clever use of shapes, colours, textures, directional flooring and the correct lighting. Once inside the shop the experience must be a memorable oneAs a retail designer we have created individual boutiques to total concept design and roll out of multiple stores. The design package (see commercial page for stages of design) will provide you with design concept to present for approval with Centre Management and working drawings for Council approvals and tender pricing from shopfitters and builders. We have designed the refurbishment of shopping centres and food courts for clients including Marrickville Metro and Mid City Centre. With the construction of Rockdale Plaza, Green Line designed the public spaces, shopfront designs and food court areas. Retail Design for Project Homes
Green Line Design created a retail platform for Pioneer Homes to sell their project houses. The Pioneer Home Centre became the selling hub with a sales office, reception, finishes selection room and three display houses all materials and styling by Green Line Design. The curved display walls were created to promote the diverse range of housing available and lifestyle photography was incorporated to link the product with the customers. The Pioneer Home Centres were rolled out into 4 States, NSW, Queensland, Victoria and South Australia and Green Line was involved in the installation of 18 of these centres. (see photos below)
Retail NewsA fresh look to Parkside Patisserie, Picton was unveiled in the beginning of July. The concept was to create a park feel within the cafe. Working with fresh tangerine and olive greens a scheme evolved with the seating taken from the generic park bench! Why not? The cafe is called 'Parkside'! Gorgeous Photography was engaged to blend lifestyle images with food photography and create a new graphic stamp to the store. The store feels open, fresh and colourful enhancing the taste of the cakes, pies and wraps even more. Look out for the big pie stack in the front window! (see photos below)"Thankyou for the beautiful shop design you have created for our business. The colour and layout has had such an impact on our customers and everyone who walks past our door. I believe this design has attributed to the instant success we have had since day one." Donna Cooney Custom Fit Apparel Alterations "The creative intelligence and commitment displayed by Green Line Design was integral to the highly successful re-positioning of Marrickville Metro Shopping Centre from one of the worst performing centres of its type in New South Wales to one that is now experiencing tremendous sales growth. Their work in creating the right ambiance for our new Cuisinery (food court) through design was instrumental to making it a focal point of the shopping centre. The presentation of many new and existing tenants was immeasurably improved through Green Line's control and the input to their fitouts which is so vital to the overall presentation of the Centre."
