The Principal Suzanne Sherwood has a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Design) from Sydney College of Arts. After working for several major design firms; she started her own design practice in 1990, Green Line Design Pty Ltd, initially based in Balmain. Now with 22 years experience, having worked in the heartbeat and design edge of Sydney's CBD, Suzanne focuses her energies towards local projects in the Macarthur and Southern Highlands Region. Suzanne was commissioned by Random House to write a DIY colour handbook. She linked up with photographer Brett Stevens and 'A Splash of Colour' was published in 1995. The book is now a text book in TAFE Colleges and frequently borrowed from libraries. Renown for her expertise in the use of colour she has been a regular contributor in the lifestyle media, produced a "How to Choose Colours" video and ran Colour Courses for Interiors Magazine. Suzanne is an active committee member for the Camden Show Society, styling the Camden Showgirl Ball. She initiated The Camden Style Pavillion, a large elegant marquee with 24 stall holders showcasing local craftsmen and gourmet produce all under one roof. This has become a popular event at the Camden Show and on most people's checklist of events to visit at the show.  |
